The Camden LGBT Forum is seeking a 1-day-a-week Volunteer Coordinator to join our dynamic and vibrant team.
Pre-Launch evening of National LGBT History Month – 21st November 2011
This takes place at Oval Cricket Ground in Kennington (SE11 5SS) from 6.45 pm – 10 pm. The Forum will be there with a stall and it promises to be an exciting evening celebrating LGBT participation and achievement in Sport. The evening will include Sports celebrities, the London Gay Mens Chorus.
‘Stamping Your Identity!!’ Dec 6th
The Forum, in partnership with the British Museum, are offering a one day workshop with the artist Duncan Hooson, exploring themes of identity inspired by the current Grayson Perry exhibition at the Museum; ‘Tomb of the Unknown Craftsmen’.
Participants will be asked to undertake some homework i.e. to design a stamp (representing how they identify) which will be made in the workshop and then used to stamp ceramic objects also made by the participants. It is to be held at the British Museum. Places are limited to first come, first served and there are only 12 places available!!
